Estimate and Terms

At C&J Electrical, our estimate services are designed to provide you with fair market pricing based on the materials and services you require, as well as any budgetary constraints you may have specified. Please note that pricing is subject to change after 10 days from the original submission date. We aim to win your business, and while we cannot guarantee this, we do incur overhead expenses to prepare each quote. Our policy and fees are designed to benefit those who are both eligible and ready to hire us by providing a detailed estimate, while also helping to keep our overhead costs to a minimum.

  •  Our pricing for electrical services is based on the conditions, square footage and layout of your property. Depending on the scope, we will need to perform a site visit to assess your property and provide you with an accurate estimate, which in most cases, can be waived by submitting pictures or details of the work area, diagnostic assessments don’t apply.
  • The cost of the estimate must be paid in full before we can provide you with an estimate. However, if you award the project to us within 10 days of receiving the estimate, we will deduct this fee from the total contract price.
  • We allow for one revision to the estimate after you sign the original estimate. Any additional revisions will incur an additional fee.
  • The estimate provided is valid for 10 days from the date it was issued. If you decide to proceed with the project after this period, we may need to reassess the cost and provide you with a new estimate.
  • Please note that this is a general estimate policy and may be subject to change depending on the specific services you require from C&J Electrical. If you have any questions or would like to request an estimate, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Terms and Policies

  • All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices.
  •  Any deviation from original drawings, scope, or specifications involving extra costs will be executed upon written orders and will become an extra charge over above the base bid.

Warranties:

6 Months warranty on installing electrical systems. The warranty will be void if the product, installation or repair is tampered with, improperly maintained, or subjected to unauthorized repair attempts, as well as if it is used in a manner not in accordance with the provided instructions or for purposes beyond its intended use.

  • All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices.
  • We are fully covered under Workman’s Compensation and General Liability Insurance; proof of policy and added as holder upon request.
  • Payment schedule as follows: – 50 percent deposit to start – Remaining balance due upon completion.
  • Owner purchase all light fixtures, if applicable
  • We have a vast list of references for public and private clients alike in both the commercial and residential industry. Please contact us for the appropriate reference needed.
  • Drywall repairs and low voltage not included. EXCLUSIONS: We are not responsible for any existing defective wiring or code violations in the existing electrical system and any said defective wiring or code violations that requires us to repair or extend the work we have proposed to install or repair, must be paid for in addition to the proposed price declared above. Any work not specifically stated are also excluded.
  • There may be an increase after 10 business days due to inflation in material cost and U.S tariff situation. If project negotiation go beyond time mention above, then pricing would need to be revisited and increase may occur accordingly.
  • C&J Electrical Service, LLC shall indemnify and hold harmless the Owner, or others from damages only to the extent such damages were caused by any negligent act or omission of C&J Electrical Service, LLC or anyone for whose acts the C&J is liable.
  • The owner is to prepare all work areas so as to be acceptable for our work under this contract. We will not be called upon to start work until sufficient areas are ready to insure said and continued work .
  • Payments Accepted/Payment Methods All major credit/debit cards are accepted, including American Express and Discover. There’s an additional 3 percent card fee charged to invoice. This payment is deducted if opt out and ACH payment is used. CJE prefers electronic payments. These electronic payments can be made from our invoices that we email you. Electronic payments are preferred to help clients avoid late fees. We also accept checks. Payments due and unpaid under the Contract shall bear interest from the date payment is due at a monthly rate of 1.5% stated below, or in the absence thereof, at the legal rate prevailing from time to time at the place where the Project is located.
